Hysteric Oasis Room

Product Description

Melbourne prankster Hysteric is back after appearing recently on local imprint Noise In MY Head and Public Possession. It’s more of the same on Oasis Room; balearic oddities and tricky disco vibes. “Tuareg” is brazenly 80’s in sound with those loveably cheesy presets (pan pipes and funk bass, among others) and sampled vocal parts being re-played on the keyboard. It’s sounds like Yello on happy pills. “Agave” sounds like a creepy old MIDI file played off a discarded old Yamaha synth, until the samples come in, sounding more like Boney M or some other Frank Farian project. Likewise on the flip for “Desert Illusion”, but in much more grandiose fashion. Actually, you must hear this!
