Product Description
Dominick Fernow, known in certain circles by the name of Vatican Shadow or Prurient, is a master of spotting new and interesting talent in and around the doom-electronic-noise spectrum. Exoteric Continent aka Anomia co-founder Arau Sala is one such talent who originally appeared on the UK’s Opal Tapes and who was then hit up by Fernow for the digital-only release, Referendum. That was one of 2014’s highlights for us and then man has thankfully decided to issue it on vinyl format, issuing those nine slices of sonic insanity on good ol’ wax. From “Percentage” to “Agrupacio Civil”, there’s a notable element of dub within the electronic cacophony taking up the majority of the space. The brittle percussion is delayed, morphed and rendered loose in all places. Check it out, this is tipped!
